Privacy Policy for the Express Taxi Application

Basic Concepts

User - an individual using this application;

Registration - the process of user identification;

Service - transportation of passengers and (or) cargo;

Personal data - any information directly or indirectly related to a specific or determinable user

Personal data processing - any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with the use of automation tools or without the use of such tools with personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), depersonalization, blocking, deletion, destruction of personal data;

Operator - a government agency, municipal authority, legal entity or individual, independently or jointly with other persons organizing and (or) carrying out the processing of personal data, as well as determining the purposes of processing personal data, the composition of personal data subject to processing, actions (operations) performed with personal data;

Contractor - a driver of a vehicle providing the service;

Partner - a legal entity authorized by the operator to appoint a contractor;

Cashless payment - payment for a service using a bank card, e-wallet, or other electronic payment instrument;

Payment system - a legal entity authorized by the operator to process cashless payments;

Advertising identifier - a unique resettable identifier for displaying advertisements.

What information is subject to collection

Only information that ensures the possibility of providing the service is subject to collection:

user location to automate the delivery of a vehicle within the framework of the provided service;

user phone number for registration, information on the status of the service and the possibility of cashless payment;

user email address to inform about the status of the service and the possibility of cashless payment;

user's first and last name in order to improve the quality of service and the possibility of cashless payment;

advertising identifier for counting the number of unique installations of the application.

This application does NOT store information about the user's bank cards, e-wallets and other payment instruments and does NOT have direct access to this information.

How the information received is used

The information provided by the user is used to contact them and provide the service.

Provision of data to third parties

Personal data of users may be transferred to persons not associated with this application, if necessary:

to the contractor to provide the service;

to the partner to select the contractor;

to the payment system to provide the possibility of cashless payment;

advertising identifier to count the number of unique installations of the application;

to comply with the law, regulatory act, execution of a court decision;

to detect or prevent fraud;

to eliminate technical malfunctions in the application;

to provide information based on a request from authorized government agencies.

Data security

This application takes all measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, in particular:

data transfer between the server and the application using asymmetric encryption (SSL);

storage of passwords and other identification data in the form of hash sums with an admixture of a unique key;

regular updating of services and systems for managing the application and its content;

regular checks for malicious code.

Updates to the privacy policy are published on this page. For the convenience of users, all versions of the privacy policy are subject to saving in archive files.
